Accident Insurance in Seffner

Accident insurance pays you a set cash amount when you get hurt. You can put that money toward your deductible, a missed paycheck or the bills that keep coming. We start by finding where your current coverage leaves you exposed, then show you plans that close that gap.

What accident insurance does and who it fits

Your health plan pays the hospital. Accident insurance pays you. After a covered injury, like a broken arm, a deep cut that needs stitches or a sprained knee from a weekend game, the plan sends a fixed benefit for each covered item on its schedule. The money is yours to spend however you need.

It works best alongside a plan with a high deductible. If your deductible is several thousand dollars, one trip to urgent care and a follow-up with a specialist can eat a big piece of it. Accident coverage is built to soften that hit. It is not a replacement for real health coverage, and we will tell you so if someone tries to sell it to you that way.

Before we suggest anything, we look at what you already carry. Some people find their main plan covers more than they thought. Others find a gap that is wider than they expected. Knowing which one you are saves you from buying the wrong thing.

What you get from us

A look at your current plan

We go over your deductible, your out-of-pocket max and how your plan handles injuries. That tells us how much exposure you actually have.

Plans side by side

We pull options from more than one carrier and lay them out next to each other. You see the benefit schedule, the premium and the fine print in plain words.

The benefit schedule explained

Every accident plan pays a set amount per event: an ER visit, an X-ray, a fracture, a hospital night. We walk you through what each line pays so there are no surprises later.

Family options

If you have kids in sports or a spouse with a physical job, we can show you family coverage on the same plan. It often makes more sense than separate policies.

Help with enrollment

Once you pick, we help you get signed up and make sure the start date is right. Many accident plans can begin outside open enrollment.

Signs accident coverage is worth a look

You carry a big deductible
If covering your whole deductible this month would be hard, a single injury could set you back. A cash benefit can pay a solid share of it.
Your children are in sports
Kids' sports lead to sprains, fractures and urgent care visits. A plan that pays for each injury helps as those trips pile up.
Your job is physical
Jobs in construction, warehouses and landscaping come with more chances of getting hurt. An injury off the clock can still keep you out of work.
Your emergency savings are thin
If a surprise bill would end up on a credit card, a modest monthly premium may be easier to handle than the debt.
You have a plan you can't make sense of
Plenty of people get accident coverage at work without knowing what it pays. We'll go through it with you and tell you whether you need more, less or none.

How it works when you call

  1. 1

    Free consultation

You talk with an advisor at our office, by phone or by video. There is no fee for the consultation.

  2. 2

    We find the real gap

We ask about your current plan, your work and your family. Then we figure out what an injury would actually cost you out of pocket. That number guides everything else.

  3. 3

    Compare plans

We show you side-by-side plan options from multiple carriers. If accident coverage doesn't fit your situation, we say so and point you toward what does, like a better individual health insurance plan.

  4. 4

    Enroll and keep the paperwork

You choose, we help you enroll, and you leave with a clear summary of what the plan pays. If you get hurt later, you know where to start a claim.

What moves the premium

Accident plans are usually one of the lower premiums you will see in health coverage, but they still vary. The price depends on who is covered and how much the plan pays out. We show you how each choice changes the monthly cost so you can decide what is worth it.

Who is on the plan
Covering just you costs less than adding a spouse or children. Family coverage is priced as a tier, not per person.
Size of the benefits
A plan that pays more per fracture or per hospital night has a higher premium. A basic schedule costs less and still helps with common injuries.
Off-job or 24-hour coverage
Some plans only cover injuries off the job. Others cover you at work too. The broader version costs more.
Extra riders
Add-ons like a hospital stay benefit or a higher payout for serious injuries raise the price. We only suggest them if your situation calls for it.

Questions people ask about accident insurance

Could accident insurance replace my health plan?
No. It pays a cash benefit on top of your health plan. You still need real health coverage for doctor visits, hospital bills and illness. An accident plan just helps with the share your main plan leaves on you.
Who gets the money, me or the hospital?
Most plans pay you directly. Use it for your deductible, rent, gas or anything else. Being free to spend it as you choose is one of the main reasons people buy it.
Does it pay out for an illness?
No. It only covers injuries from a covered accident. If you're worried about the cost of getting sick, we'd begin by looking at your main plan, and possibly ACA Marketplace plans.
Do you charge to talk things over?
No. The consultation is free. When you buy a plan, the carrier you pick pays us for the setup, so looking at your options costs you nothing. If you choose not to buy, you still owe nothing.
Do I have to wait for a certain time of year to sign up?
Many accident plans can be bought outside open enrollment. A few have a short wait before benefits kick in. We'll tell you the start date and any waiting period before you sign.
I have accident coverage through work. Should I add more?
Maybe not. Send us the details and we'll look at what it pays. Some work plans are solid and some are bare, and you should know which one you have before spending more.
